What a wonderful job everyone has done with self screening! Together we are all keeping each other safe. Our temporary hours will remain 8-5. Infant & Toddler Center pickup and drop off remains the same, however, at the Preschool a minor pickup change: Please come into the gate using the secret code provided in sandbox. Then get our attention at the yellow door and you’ll be greeted by your happy child and happy teachers. 🙂 Read More.

This month our theme will be Hawaiian Vacations. Remember vacations? We will have lots of fun pretending and reading Explore My World Dolphins, Froggy Goes to Hawaii, My Grandma Could Do Anything in Hawaii, And The Berenstain Bears Go on Vacation!

Kindergarten at Halsey Schools: We will have a small in person Kindergarten class so you don’t have to be your Kindergartener’s teacher. 🙂 Space is limited. Your child will be ready for first grade and beyond! Please email or give us a call to hold your child’s spot.

Self Screening at home: Keep up the good work! Parents and teachers have been doing an awesome job of self screening and staying home when any concerns arise. No runny noses. No illnesses. Only healthy teachers and children at school. 🙂 We haven’t had to turn anyone away during arrival screening or send anyone home. Read How we are keeping parents, children and teachers safe for details on self screening and our daily entrance screening. Together we are keeping everyone safe.

Wear Sunscreen Everyday: It’s Sunscreen Time! Children (10 months- 6yrs)  should come to school wearing an SPF 30 or more on all exposed areas of the skin. If you would like us to re-apply a medication form must be completed. We also recommend wearing a hat. We will be having a lot of outdoor fun!  (Always consult your child’s physician.)
