I have lived in the San Fernando Valley all my life. My Mom moved here from Acapulco, Mexico when she was young and my Dad was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley. I come from a family of six children, three girls and three boys. I have three daughters of my own, Evelyn, Zelda & Jade, whom I share with my fiancé, James.

When I’m not teaching…

In my free time, I love to spend quality time with my three daughters and fiancé at home. I also like going on bike rides around our neighborhood and walks with our dog, Apollo. I love all things Disney and watching scary movies too!

A little bit about me…

Born in Los Angeles, but lived in the SFV all my life. My dad is Chinese, and my mom is Filipino. I have two brothers one older and one younger. I was raised by my grandma since both of my parents were working parents. To this day, I am very honored that I was given the chance to have spent the time I had with my grandma. I have a mixed Turkish Angora cat named Bobby, a Betta fish named Dumbo, and a Golden Retriever dog named Lily.

When I’m not teaching…

I am a theme park girl, you’ll probably catch me at neither Disneyland or Universal. I am a true Hufflepuff (Harry Potter) hehe. I like to think I am pretty nifty, I love to create and work on DIY projects. I enjoy reading!! I either listen to audiobooks or read on my kindle. I also love building Lego sets and going shopping on Amazon/Target! :]

I am completing my Early Childhood Development Credential. I started working with children in 1990.

A little bit about me…

I was born in New Jersey and raised in Simi Valley with my 3 siblings. My real happy place and time was having my daughter 27 years ago. I chose to be a stay at home mom and a class mom at her preschool and elementary school. I later went on to work for AT&T and retired after 35 years. Now I’m back full circle at my true happy place with smiling, laughing and learning children.

When I’m not teaching…

In my free time I enjoy walking and jogging, dog walking, art shows, live music entertainment and socializing with my neighbors.

I enjoy painting and drawing in my free time. I find it very peaceful. I also like exploring new dessert places with my friends. Also, I’m a huge Marvel and DC fan and I love watching all of their movies, especially with my brothers and dad.

I was born and raised in California and my family is from Bangladesh which is next to India. My dad came to the states very young and he made a future here with all of us. We have a tremendously big family filled with cousins, nieces, and nephews. I was always surrounded with children when I was little and as I was growing up. I always had a passion to work with children.

During my free time I like to read books, go to the park, and be with my niece and nephews.

I am so blessed to have good friends and family in my life. My friend, my cousin and I are always together enjoying each other’s company. I have three beautiful children; one girl and two boys. I love to shop! Especially at Macy’s and Guess. Going to dinner and spending time with my friends makes me happy. When I vacation, I LOVE to cruise.

I have many far-away friends and family members. I was born and raised in the Philippines, and have a sister and two brothers who still live there. I miss them so much! My dad has passed away, and my mother lives with my family. We moved to California from Guam in July 2003.  I’m fluent in English, Filipino & Spanish. 

I have one daughter who keeps us very busy with her academic and extra-curricular achievements that fill our lives. Besides dancing, acting, and singing, she loves to read books.

When I’m not teaching…

During my free time I love to be with my family watching movies and sharing my husband’s favorite past time, following the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots.  I also like to work in my garden and shop at the mall!

I’ve been taking care of children all my life. I have my Early Childhood Development Director Credential from UCLA and I’m CPR & First Aid Certified.

A little bit about me…

I was born in Boston and adopted by my parents when I was 2 months old. We moved to Woodland Hills when I was 3 years old. I have two Korean sisters who my parents also adopted. My sister Becky and her family moved to Japan in 2004 but visit us all summer long. My sister Lori is still close by.

My husband Bobby & I were high school sweethearts at El Camino Real High School in Woodland Hills and we had a beautiful wedding at St. Luke’s right across the street from Halsey.  I’ve been part of the Rice/Halsey family since I was a teenager.

Bobby and I have two adult boys Christopher (23) & Kevin (21) who love to help us out at the school. They both went to Halsey for 5 years. So did all 12 of my nieces and nephews!

When I’m not teaching…

I love to be with my family. It doesn’t matter what we are doing. We love to go on field trips; Sky High, horseback riding, kayaking, Magic Mountain, Disneyland… It’s always fun!

I enjoy exercising at the gym, hiking, backpacking, cruising, biking at the beach, walking and just being outside.

I love being a mother and support Christopher & Kevin in whatever they are doing.
