What I love most about working with children is being able to make a positive impact in their lives. I am a kid at heart, so being able to teach basic skills all while having fun is an absolute dream come true.
Early Childhood Development Credential, CPR & First Aid Certified
I have my Early Childhood Development Teaching Credential and my BA in Child Development & Early Education. I’m CPR & First Aid Certified. I also speak a bit of Tagalog, but I can understand fully. I’ve been teaching since 2009.
A little bit about me…
Born in Los Angeles, but lived in the SFV all my life. My dad is Chinese, and my mom is Filipino. I have two brothers one older and one younger. I was raised by my grandma since both of my parents were working parents. To this day, I am very honored that I was given the chance to have spent the time I had with my grandma. I have a mixed Turkish Angora cat named Bobby, a Betta fish named Dumbo, and a Golden Retriever dog named Lily.
When I’m not teaching…
I am a theme park girl, you’ll probably catch me at neither Disneyland or Universal. I am a true Hufflepuff (Harry Potter) hehe. I like to think I am pretty nifty, I love to create and work on DIY projects. I enjoy reading!! I either listen to audiobooks or read on my kindle. I also love building Lego sets and going shopping on Amazon/Target! :]
